DUE TO COVID 19 WE WILL ONLY BE OFFERING TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS. IT IS VERY SAFE AND VERY EASY TO USE. WE HAVE MANY SLOTS WITH OPEN APPOINTMENT TIMES WITH ASSOCIATES (FORMERLY KNOWN AS INTERNS).
I am a Master’s level trainee with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and my associate's degree is in Criminal Justice. My areas of interest are families, couples, individuals. Maintaining our relationships is an important and integral part of our lives and therapy can help give us the tools we need to do just that. My main therapy style is Narrative/Solution-Focused, however, I have interests in Gestalt, Play Therapy (which I am currently working towards certification in) and Attachment Therapy.
Therapy is a tool to utilize in order to access the resources needed to solve problems. Finding the solution and/or recreating the narrative is a process and one that needs to be tailored to the client(s). There is no one-size therapy package that works for everyone. The first step in the therapy process is to meet and determine what works best for everyone. I believe that the therapeutic process is as unique as the families, couples, and individuals seeking therapy.
I firmly believe that people, whether they realize it or not, are already equipped with the ability and resources to solve problems, (which comes from a Solution-Focused view). I also believe that the narrative we tell ourselves needs to be changed in order to live our best lives. It is my role as your therapist to coach you and guide you towards creating a new narrative and living your best life. After all, living our best life is the ultimate goal.
