I have over 10 years of clinical experience in the helping field and truly enjoy what I do. My background is unique because I am dual-licensed as a Clinical Psychologist and as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My background includes working with diverse populations such as those with personality disorders, Autism Spectrum, PTSD, victims of violence, agoraphobia, kleptomania, eating disorders, phobias, suicidal thoughts, anger issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and psychosis.
I like to work with all individuals but in particular, I enjoy working with women who need some clarity in their relationships and those struggling with depression. I am a big believer in "meeting clients where they are," which means I won't push you to an emotional place you aren't ready for. We go at your own pace with some encouragement from me. I offer a supportive place to process what is going on and how best to address it.
I use different approaches for different personalities and different symptoms. I am skilled at using Behavioral Therapy for issues such as phobias and a Solutions-Focused approach for relationship difficulties. Oftentimes I use CBT and DBT for depression and anxiety. Treatment is tailored to fit you/your family/your relationship.
